Once we arrived,we headed to the bus.As the the doors slid open,a gush of cold air blew.It was 13 degrees Celsius, while Singapore was 34 degrees Celsius,so it was a huge difference! We got on the coach, and our driver,Mark, took us for a city tour, then to King's Park.At King's Park,we took another photo with the same banner(except we all had our hats and coats on).
We went for a small walk round the beautiful King's Park, and saw all the different kinds of Australian plants and the breathtaking view of the Swan River.Later,we checked-in to our hotel and rested for a while before going to dinner at a Chinese restaurant and returning to the hotel for a bath and sleeping after such a tiring yet fun day.
On Day 2,we woke up and had a delicious breakfast at the Aroma Cafe. After filling our tummies with nourishing food,we set off to the Rockingham Regional Environmental Centre to learn about protecting our environment. There,we met Bobby the bobtail, Bubbles the blue-tongued skink and Rex,the python. They were interesting. We also went and examined the aboriginal vegetables grown, and they tasted salty.Next,we were given a canvas bag to paint on,and all the works of art were beautiful.
Next we went for lunch at Cicerello's seafood restaurant's fish and chips. After that,we went to Fremantle Weekend Markets to buy souvenirs. Then we went back to the hotel for dinner and then slept.
On Day 3,we visited the Scitech Discovery Centre. It was mostly about conserving energy and science. There was "Who Dunnit? "case where we could learn how to solve a murder while learning about evidence.
Next,we went to the Caversham Wildlife Park, our highlight for the day.We saw kangaroos and fed them, saw koalas and petted them(and were careful to not touch the leaves!)and other australian animals like possums and wombats. Then there was a souvenir shop, and everybody shopped again.
Then,we went to the Margaret River Chocolate Factory to buy chocolates,
and ,again, everybody rushed to get some.
On Day 4,we went to St Simon Peter Catholic School.Their school was so cool! They had many facilities. The students were friendly and showed us around. They played Australian football and made boomerangs with us.We then ate lunch.
We checked-out of the hotel and went to Springhill Farm. The rooms were cosy and they had their own names. We saw how they shaved the sheep. That night we were stargazing and there was a bonfire and a lucky draw. Then we went to bed.
The next day,we ate breakfast and then went to collect the eggs, feed the chickens and the goat ,sheep. Then we headed to the airport and went home.
